From the Desk of Principal Amy
Congratulations to all of our students on finishing Marking Period 3 strong and on completing Regents testing. I have the great privilege of sharing the incredible news that Assistant Principal Alex Sosa has successfully battled Burkitt Lymphoma and rejoined us this week in good health!! Alex's recovery is truly a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to his strength and resilience.
As February approaches, I am excited to share our collective enthusiasm for Black History Month. While we integrate Black history into our curriculum year-round, this month offers a special opportunity to uplift and amplify narratives of the African diaspora. On February 28th, our students will lead workshops, providing a platform for sharing diverse perspectives and celebrating the rich cultural heritage that Black history represents.
Looking forward to seeing you for our Family Learning Walk, SLT and PTA meetings on Feb. 7th!
In partnership,
Amy
